VINNIE PAUL Vs KID ROCK - STARS Vs. RED WINGS

May 8, 2008

Dallas, Texas native Vinnie Paul of HEALLYEAH, DAMAGEPLAN and PANTERA fame has challenged "the yankee's rebel son" Kid Rock (born and bred in Detroit, Michigan) to a "friendly wager" surrounding the Dallas Stars/Detroit Red Wings series of the NHL playoffs. Hometown loser in the best of seven series will owe the winning rocker a pair of "bad-ass boots" and barbecue (what, no strippers?)!

According to his record label, Vinnie also plans to turn this bet into an opportunity to not only cheer on his Dallas Stars but also make some money for charity. There is a web site that has offered to host the bet and if people are interested in taking a side (Vinnie Paul's Stars vs Kid Rock's Wings) they can sign up at Bragster.com and for everyone who signs up, the site plans to donate a "Dime for Dime" (10 cents per person will go to the Dimebag Foundation charity).

Vinnie announced the wager this morning on the "Cindy Scull and Robert Miguel Morning Show" on 93.3 The Bone in Dallas. Hear the audio from the chat on Cindy and Robert's MySpace page.
